Multi Service Centre (MSC) has enjoyed a long and successful association with the College, employing a number of Apprentices over many years.
Current Apprentice Ricky Taylor is undertaking an Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3. He joined MSC part-way through a Level 2 Apprenticeship with another employer. With MSC he has progressed to the Level 3 programme which he is on target to complete.
Barbara Allen, Managing Director at MSC, says: “We see real value in investing in the Apprenticeship programme with six of our current mechanics having come through the Apprenticeship route. I think the programme helps us keep the industry up-to-date and vibrant, with a supply of quality work-ready young talent entering the trade.
“The team at Andover College make a huge contribution to the success of the training, backing up the on-the-job work with critical skills of Maths and English for all Apprentices, and underpinning the practical with solid understanding.”
