What will I learn?

This one-day intensive course is designed for existing or aspiring team leaders. It covers key skills required to be an effective team leader. It is designed to support, build-on and develop existing team leadership and first line management skills, in order to help improve operational efficiency.

* Team building theory
* Different types of teams
* Action centred leadership
* Delegation
* Motivation
* Managing meetings
* Time-management skills

Where will it lead me?

Delegates may wish to progress on to the CMI L3 Principles of Management and Leadership programme

Entry Requirements Age

Applicants must be 19+ on the start date of the course in order to apply/enrol on the course.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to:

· Existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course
· Learners aged 19-24 with an EHCP
