On all of our courses the British Horse Society Challenge Awards course content is embedded as part of the practical and theory instruction (depending on which pathway you are on). There are opportunities for students to use the knowledge gained to obtain
multiple Challenge Award modules which can advance you straight to your BHS Stage 2 exam (exam fees apply) after completion of your Ride Safe Exam.
“My professional background includes producing sport horses to a high level within the show jumping discipline. In addition, I have worked as a Research Officer for a well-known equine charity, contributing to research boards alongside HRH The Princess Royal. I also have experience within the equine veterinary sector.
My specialist teaching areas include Advanced Anatomy and Physiology, Equine Welfare, Research Methods and Projects, and Biomechanics. I also have a particular interest in sport horse breeding and genetics, with a focus on their application to performance and welfare.”
